There is a wired remote attached to the cord on your Skylight. A long button press will turn the light on or off. Short button presses will cycle through each brightness setting.
Yes. The Skylight has an internal battery for short-term use. It works best when plugged into a Yeti power station, but your Skylight can run on the internal battery at the lowest brightness setting for about 8 hours.
