Can I charge a Flip and phone at the same time?
Yes, you can! Here's a good use-case scenario: You have a big day planned tomorrow and you have to be prepared with some extra battery power. So you plug a Flip into your USB wall charger, plug your phone into the Flip, and wake up in the morning ready to conquer the world with a fully charged Flip and phone. we call this feat of engineering "pass-through power".
What batteries can be used in the Guide 10 Plus?
Any AA or AAA* NiMH batteries can be used and recharged. We do not recommend other types of batteries. 4 same-sized batteries MUST be charged at once, but not all batteries need to be empty. *AAA cells are sold separately and come with an adapter to use with the Guide 10 Plus.
What is an IP Rating ?
IP rating stands for Ingress Protection. The first digit is for solid particle protection and indicates the level of protection the enclosure provides against solids. The second digit is for liquid protection and indicates the level of protection the enclosure provides against liquids. The Venture 70 has an IP67 rating. Which means it is dust proof and water proof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes
