We’re proud to congratulate Alpinist and Goal Zero Ambassador Ueli Steck for being nominated as one of the National Geographic Adventurers of the Year. For the past ten years, National Geographic has honored those who have achieved extraordinary achievement in exploration, adventure sports, conservation, and humanitarianism. Ueli’s ambition to push his limits and test himself on the world’s highest peaks earned him the nickname “The Swiss Machine” and a spot on this esteemed list. His growing list of accomplishments includes 5.13 solos, a 2008 speed record on the North Face of the Eiger that grabbed international attention, and a more recent 28-hour speed record on the south face of Annapurna in the Himalaya. We’re proud to have Ueli on our team of ambassadors. He embodies Goal Zero's values; living with zero apathy, zero boundaries, and zero regrets.
